Maggie Grace (born Margaret Grace Denig Sept. 21, 1983) is an acclaimed American actor. She is most famously known for her role appeared as Shannon Rutherford from ABC's Lost TV show as well as Kim Mills for the Taken Trilogy. After the divorce of her parents her parents separated, she moved to Worthington in Ohio and moved at Los Angeles. While struggling financially she landed her first part as Rachel's Room's main character the web-based video show Rachel's Room in the year 2001. In the following year, she was awarded a Young Artist Award nomination in 2002 for her performance as 15-year-old murder victim Martha Moxley in the television movie Murder which aired in Greenwich. Grace appeared as Shannon Rutherford on the Lost television series in 2004. She played the lead character for two seasons and won an award for her performance, a Screen Actors Guild Award. The show ended in 2005 and Grace would like to be as a film actress, and had been cast as the opposite of Tom Welling in The Fog in 2005. She starred on the screen in Suburban Girl The Jane Austen Book Club in 2007 and Taken (2008) alongside Liam Neeson. She reprised the role for Taken 2 (2012) and Taken 3 (2014).She played the leading role in Alice on Malice in Wonderland a modern take on Lewis Carroll's novel Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Grace performed the role of Shannon again in Lost's finale episode, as well as two additional episodes. She appeared in 2013's sixth season of Californication. She plays Faith, a groupie who is a muse for the stars, and draws the eye to Hank Moody (David Duchovny). Her next appearance was in Adaptation Confessions of a Dangerous Mind both in 2002 and Mona Lisa Smile (2003). Gyllenhaal received critical acclaim for both her performances as a lead character in Secretary (2002) as well as in Sherrybaby (2006), which is an erotic romantic drama and Sherrybaby (2006). In 2006, she was also nominated for her fellow actors for the Golden Globe Award. Her fame grew when she portrayed Rachel Dawes, a superhero in The Dark Knight (2008) as well as a number of successful commercial films she starred in the year the year 2006.
