Emma
Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson is the daughter of British lawyers Jacqueline Luesby (born in Paris) as well as Chris Watson (born in Paris). When she moved to Oxfordshire when she was five, Emma attended The Dragon School. Emma was six years old when she decided that she wanted to become an actress. She studied for a number of years at Stagecoach Theatre Arts, a partially-time theater school in Oxford in which she learned singing and acting. It was already her turn to perform in numerous Stagecoach and school productions when she turned ten. Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone was the film of 2001 adaption to J.K. Rowling's bestselling book was filmed in 1999. Emma was discovered by casting agents through Emma's Oxford theatre teacher. David Heyman informed Emma, Daniel Radcliffe, and Rupert Grint after auditioning for eight times. They were chosen to play three leads Hermione Gringer Harry Potter Ron Weasley. Emma's debut on the big screen in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone made in 2001. The film was also the most well-received film of the year. Opening weekday and weekend sales were record-breaking. The film was praised by critics and its performances by the three young stars. The Daily Telegraph, an important British paper, called Emma's performance "amazing". Emma was awarded the Young Artist Award as the Leading Young Actress for the Feature Film. The actress was awarded five times for her performance in the film.
