Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson is Mexican musician who was born into a musical family. Her childhood was spent listening to the old and classical boleros as well the traditional ranchero, romantic, and romance ballads. Ana has a passion for tangos, opera, and the various forms of dramatic performing. Ana began learning to sing and play the piano at an early age together with her mom. The formal training in singing when she was 16 years old under the famous Mexican Tenor Flavio BECARRA. Music education was continued by the School of Music of the University of Guadalajara, and afterwards to the School of Sacred Music in Toluca, Mexico. The singer performed in Guadalajara, Mexico City and other cities as a young student and professional. In 2000, she emigrated back to America. United States and sang with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. In 2007, she re-located to her present home in Southern California. She is currently a member of Ensemble XXI of Redlands and is a frequent solo performer of the traditional Latin American music at private occasions. As a teacher and musician Ana is a dedicated participant in various community-based projects thanks to her passion and passion for music. Ana was also a singer in the Community Chorus of Redlands, the Inland Master Chorale, and the Performance Loft. Ana is thankful for the opportunity to share her passion and appreciation for old-fashioned Latin American songs with others while she hopes to instill a sense of particularly among the younger generation in order to keep this music vibrant and alive.Viva Mexico!
